UPDATES SEPT 3, 2025 .

We are redoing our websites. This means you may find some links that do not work, but everything essential should. In cases where pages have not been updated, a link to our old site is provided.

Please note that due to the drop in both the US and Canadian dollar against the Peso, our prices for 2027 are rising  by almost 10%.

We are making changes for the 2027 Season. We expect some confusion as a result. We are moving to pricing trips in Canadian dollars instead of USD. This does not mean Americans have to pay in Canadian dollars. They will pay equivalent USD at the going book exchange rate (not the buy/sell). Since over half of our business is French (Quebec Caravans) this makes more sense to simplify our operations. We will also be reducing our deposit amounts and introducing 3 payments after deposits to make things easier. Our terms for 2027 are also changing a bit.

We have improved the Copper Canyon - Colonial City trip with more tours and meals. We always strive to give more for less.

With the new Tariff war, many Snowbirds are looking at alternatives to Az, Tx and Fl. Right now our longest trip is 3 months. We are planning a long stay in Mexico combined with a Copper Canyon/Mazatlan trip. This would run from Nogales Az, currently on Jan 12th. Earlier in December is possible at an additional escort charge. You would be escorted a day south to San Carlos and stay in an RV park until Feb 24th. While there, you would simply pay your own RV Park fees. This is s full serivce park with full hookups, laundry, WiFi, pickleball, small pool. The ocean is across the street, and several restaurants are easy walking distance. English speaking Camp Manager., and pet friendly. Then you would do our normal Copper Canyon tour schedule. The pricing for this is about $7500 US per rig.

There is discount for NON Credit Card payments. This is 3.5% . Applied to final payment.

Yucatan 2026 has about 6 spots available.

The new CDC dog rules in the US have been causing considerable anxiety. They have now been drastically revised, so there will be little impact on our customers. We are also watching the screw worm situation and will locate vets for inspection before crossing back into the US if needed, even if this adds a day.

Baja 2026 is now full with a wait list. There will be 2 LTV club tours and mixed group run for 2027. One 2027 LTV trip is full. For some reason Baja is more popular than the mainland, but IMO, the mainland is more interesting. Culturally, historically and geographically. There seems to be a misconception that Baja is safer, but in fact you are safe with us anywhere.

There are spaces on both Yucatan-All Mexico, and on Copper Canyon - Colonial Cities as of Septemebr 1st.

This company runs trips in both English and French. They are 2 separate divisions. A number of Canadians from Quebec are bilingual, and may join some of our English trips. We have had at least one American fluent in French, who has been on one of our French trips.

I am always willing to talk by phone. My cell is 604-200-1342 and works in Canada, the US and Mexico. As you can imagine, I am asked teh same questions a lot. Once you pay a depsoit, you will be provided a PDF Manual that answers all the questions I have ever been asked. It can be overwhelming, but the information you are lookingfor is probably in there.

Every rig requires a GRMS radio. We use the Midland MXT115 which costs about $160 US. It is compatible with the cheap handheld you can buy at Walmart, for eg. They are easy to install, even on a temporary basis. A video is available at https://youtu.be/fwFhj_SIIE8

Now to deal with politics. which we try to avoid:

Message to Canadians:

As you are aware, the political situation has changed a lot in the US this year, and there are new rules you have to be aware of, and possibly some precautions to take.  With the speed of changes there, we really cannot predict what you may, or may not, have to do until close to trip time, so we will evaluate everything then, and advise you of any changes that impact, in plenty of time. There are fluid changes to crossing the Canada/US border and we will advise of any issues. One of the new hassles is registering if you plan to be in the US for more than 30 days. We do not think this includes the time you are in Mexico, we assuem it resets when you cross into Mexico. Keep proof of tiem spent in Mexico as a precaution. The Canadian Snowbirds Web Site  will keep you up to date.

Message to Americans:

We are not going to beat around the bush. Your current president is not a popular figure in Mexico, and his tariff war is hurting ordinary Mexicans. It is what it is. Does this mean you will be unpopular? The answer is NO, Mexicans do not tend to transfer dislike of a country's politics onto its citizens. However, if you are a Trump supporter, we do not care, but there is no benefit in rubbing salt into wounds by having pro Trump bumper stickers on your vehicle, or wearing a Maga hat. Flying flags other than Mexican flags has always been considered in poor taste, so that is best avoided. That also applies to Canadian Flags.

The sign up forms for 2026 or 2027 may be found by clicking Book .

Switching of trips after paying a deposit is usually permissible if space is available. We allow shifting deposits and payments to the following season, less any money we have paid in advance for reservations. There may be a service charge, depending on if this causes us issues with reservations and that sort of thing.

There have recently been issues on our caravans concerning dogs, and that usually means the issue is actually with the owners.

There are people out there who should never go on a caravan, and you probably already know if you are one of those people.

We are formulating both rules around dogs and conduct of customers. You may view them below.
