Do you have a lien on your vehicle? Are you residente permanente in Mexico?
If you have a lien that shows on your registration, you will need a letter of permission from the lien holder to take the vehicle into Mexico. If you have the title and it does not show the lien, use that instead. You may have to assure the lienholder you are fully insured in Mexico.
If you have permanent resident status in Mexico, you may not take a US or Canadian registered vehicle in, unless your spouse does not have that status. If you are a Mexican citizen with permanent resident status in the US or Canada, you may. This does not apply to Baja, where you do not require a vehicle permit. Pets are welcome, but must be controlled. (the same applies to kids, LOL)
Notes on Deposits
Please read our terms of agreement before booking a trip. I realize most people do not, but you at least have to acknowlege you have, for legalities

Please note that deposits are non-refundable. We very often get people canceling, who want them back. Deposits are used to secure RV park reservations, personnel etc. You may purchase insurance to cover loss due to medical and other valid reasons. Keep in mind that we often have to turn prospective customers away, if a trip is full, and can suffer a loss due to that when someone cancels. Someone who was interested, may have now made other plans. If we refund deposits, there is no point in even taking one to start with. They exist to secure your spot and protect against price increases. We already allow transfer of deposits to the next season which is more than most of our competitors will do. French trips are handled by a separate independent division from English ones and operate with different prices, terms, etc. Information and signups are at the following website: caravanemexique.com
